Good food but not very smart service staffs. Here on a warm Tuesday night, there are about 8 empty tables, one waiter + 2 bus persons and 5 groups waiting. Instead of seating the customers first and let us know the short staffed situation, they make us stand and wait for 20+ minutes. The server did his very best to provide good service considering the situation. He was friendly and kitchen prep the order quickly too. Poor management is to blame, there was none on site, enough said.
I like the variety of pizzas they offer and I can customize even more with their toppings list I was a little disappointed that the shishito peppers were blackened. I prefer them green This time we had lemon (whole soft) garlic shrimp with anchovies on pesto Didn't realize we were getting such an awesome deal on Pi Day. Take home Mango pie, reheated with air fryer - yum.
Came on a weekend night and got seated immediately! There were plenty of seating in the back upstairs though the steps were a bit weird. We got a meatball appetizer and Napoli pizza to share. I also got the mango margarita. All were great though I feel like Tony's in SF was better.
I'm picky about pizza, but this stuff was so good. We got the burrata w/ pesto as an appetizer, and the pepperoni and prosciutto pizzas as our main meals. The dough was perfectly fluffy and all the toppings were high quality. I saw some reviews about the service being iffy but we had no problems till then end. They took a while to bring the check. No biggie though.
Went here for dinner with my friends recently and all the pizzas were so yummy! They were pretty busy on a Thursday night as well but the food came out pretty fast. There was a bunch of options to choose from but we ordered the burrata, C calabrese + honey, and funghi pizzas. Definitely devoured those slices of pizza. I recommend coming here if you're craving some wood fired oven pizza with a good ambiance.
